Participate in an exchange program (student exchange)

Are you interested in studying abroad as part of an exchange program?

You have several options:

  • in Europe through the Erasmus+ program;
  • internationally through the Erasmus Mundus program;
  • internationally through inter-university partnership agreements;
  • in Quebec with the BCI;
  • in one of the three twin cities participating in the “City of Montpellier Mobility Grants” program.

Go on an internship

Are you thinking about doing an internship abroad?

You have three options:

  • internships with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI);
  • internships under the ERASMUS+ program;
  • Internships abroad outside of exchange programs.

What funding options are available?

Studying abroad requires a personal and financial commitment from students who wish to add an international dimension to their academic program. To support study or internship projects abroad, various scholarships and financial aid programs are available:

  • Erasmus+ Grant;
  • Erasmus Mundus Grant;
  • Financial assistance from the Languedoc-Roussillon Region;
    • International mobility assistance from the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, and Research (MENESR) reserved for recipients of need-based scholarships;
  • Rotary International Scholarships.

PLEASE NOTE –For Erasmus+ funding for studies and internships, MENESR mobility grants, and the LR Regional Grant, completed applications must be returned to the International Relations Office (BRI) at your school or department.

To find out the deadline for submitting these applications, please contact your BRI.

Because these grants require significant administrative work (such as verifying attendance records and proof of completion of the program),payment processing times are often lengthy and cannot be guaranteed during the program.

Not all forms of financing can be combined.
