International
Participating in an exchange program (student exchange)
Are you interested in studying abroad as part of an exchange program?
There are several options available to you:
- in Europe through the Erasmus+ program;
- internationally through the Erasmus Mundus program;
- internationally through interuniversity partnership agreements;
- in Quebec with the BCI;
- in one of the three sister cities participating in the “City of Montpellier Mobility Scholarships” program.
Go on an internship
Are you thinking about doing an internship abroad?
You have three options:
- internships with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI);
- internships as part of the ERASMUS+ program;
- Internships abroad outside of exchange programs.
What are the funding options?
Studying abroad requires a personal and financial commitment from students who wish to add an international dimension to their academic program. To support study or internship programs abroad, various scholarships and financial aid programs are available:
- Erasmus+ Grant;
- Erasmus Mundus Grant;
- Financial assistance from the Languedoc-Roussillon Region;
- International mobility grant from the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, and Research (MENESR) reserved for recipients of need-based scholarships;
- Rotary International Scholarships.
ATTENTION—For Erasmus+ funding for studies and internships, MENESR mobility grants, and the LR Region scholarship, completed applications must be returned to the Office of International Relations (BRI) at your academic unit.
To find out the deadline for submitting these applications, please contact your BRI.
Because these scholarships require a significant amount of administrative work (such as verifying attendance records and proof of completion of the stay),payment processing times are often long and cannot be guaranteed during the stay.
Not all forms of financing can be combined.
